Advantages of buying a three-phase contactor
JBH three-phase contactor has many advantages that provide more safety and efficiency. In the following, we mention the most important advantages of the automatic three-phase contactor.
Low disconnection sound
In non-industrial environments such as residential houses, commercial office units, one of the challenges is the loud disconnection and connection of three-phase contactors. By using JBH silent three-phase contactor, these problems are solved.
The miniature dimensions of the three-phase contactor
In order to be able to install the right number of contactors per phase in the electrical panel, you need a lot of space, and you usually face the lack of enough space. JBH single-phase contactors are placed in smaller frames due to their miniature dimensions, which means saving money and space.
Use IP protection
In environments full of dust and pollution, one of the biggest problems is cleaning and servicing three-phase contactors; But the JBH single-phase contactor, having a high protection factor, does not allow dust to enter and naturally eliminates the need for frequent services. This increases the life of the contactor, the absence of unreasonable and continuous sounds from the contactor, and the comfort of the operator.
The optimal number of connections
One of the important parameters in contactor evaluation is the number of times it is disconnected and connected, which indicates the mechanical life of the contactor. The contact point of the three-phase contactor is made of silver alloy, which guarantees high quality and switching.
The price of the 63 amp contactor
The price of the 63 amp contactor depends on various factors, which are authenticity, quality, brand, etc., among the most important factors that you should pay attention to.
Since electrical equipment provides a part of the security of the environment, it is better to buy from reliable collections that offer their products with originality and quality, so that you can rest easy in the event of any accident.
Another point that you should pay attention to is that the more quality and original your product is, the higher its price; Also, some brands offer their products at a higher price due to their long working history; But JBH honestly offers the best, highest quality and safest products at the right price.
How to install automatic three-phase contactor
When installing the 63 amp automatic three-phase contactor, you should pay attention to two important issues, i.e. steering and power, and install the product in such a way that it provides its facilities in the best way.
Note: Considering that the automatic three-phase contactor is one of the dangerous electrical equipments, if you do not have enough expertise and skills to install it, it is better to get help from experts who work in this field to avoid possible risks.
Command
Base A1 and A2 are for feeding the coil to apply command to the contactor. The user connects the contactor by applying 220 V alternating current to these two pins. In this way, the power blades of the contactor are connected.
the power
Pins 1 to 8 of the automatic three-phase contactor are its power contacts. In the JBH 4-bridge contactor, pins 1 and 2 correspond to the first bridge, pins 3 and 4 correspond to the second bridge, pins 5 and 6 correspond to the third bridge, and pins 7 and 8 correspond to the fourth bridge. This is a 4-pole contactor; This means that if the contactor is connected, pin 1 and pin 2 are connected, and in this case the signal behind pin 1 is exactly transferred to pin 2. This is also true for grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. In much simpler language, if a 220V supply is connected to pins A1 and A2, the virtual switch is connected between pins 1 and 2 and the virtual switch is connected between pins 3 and 4. It should be noted that this virtual key is the fixed and moving parts inside the contactor that work with the help of a coil and spring according to Faraday’s important law.
How the three-phase contactor works
The operation of the three-phase contactor is very complex and professional. In the following, we will explain a summary of what happens inside the automatic three-phase contactor.
The three-phase contactor has two fixed and movable iron cores. If you wrap a coil around an iron core and connect it to a 220V voltage, the iron core turns into a magnet, which we call the contactor’s command circuit or actuator.
In the upper part of the contactor, there is another iron core on which the power contactor is installed. This part is known as the mobile core.
When the contactor is off, the moving core does not work and is separated from the fixed core by a spring; But when the voltage is applied to the fixed core, the fixed core pulls the moving core towards itself and the connection is established.
How to test three-phase contactor
When a part of the three-phase contactor is damaged, you need to test it.
Considering the high price of this product, it is better to test it to ensure its health and also to save money, and if there is a problem, replace or repair it.
Note that testing the contactor while it is being installed is very dangerous and you must remove it from the circuit to avoid possible dangers. This test should be done in two stages.
In the first stage, the bobbin should be examined, and in the second stage, the contactor plates should be examined.
For testing, we need a series of tools such as power cord, digital multimeter and a source to supply voltage.
To test the coil, you need to excite it with a certain voltage. After the required voltage enters the coil; If the contactor vibrates and you hear a clicking sound, it means that the coil is healthy.
In the next step, you should examine the platinum contactor. At this stage, you should put the multimeter in short circuit mode and then connect the multimolar probes in pairs to terminals L1-T1, L2-T2 and L3-T3. If the coil is excited, the contactor reacts after connecting to the multimeter probe.
There is another method for testing in which there is no need to stimulate the bobbin; In this situation, if the contactor is healthy, it should show open circuit or infinite ohms.
